The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of DNA testing and Facial Similarity Analysis services provided under the Face DNA Test brand, operated by Face IT DNA Technology LLC (“FIDT,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using services through https://facednatest.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and Site Usage Policies.
1. Definitions
1.1 “FIDT” refers to Face IT DNA Technology LLC.
1.2 “Client” means any individual, legal guardian, or entity purchasing services or submitting biological samples or photographs.
1.3 “Services” refers to DNA Testing Services and Facial Similarity Analysis Services provided by the Company.
1.4 “Facial Similarity Analysis Services” refers to the automated and/or manual comparison of visible facial characteristics using computer vision, biometric analysis, and statistical modeling to estimate similarity between individuals based on observable hereditary traits.
Facial Similarity Analysis evaluates visible facial features only and does not extract, analyze, or interpret DNA, genetic material, or biological samples. Results provide similarity estimates only and are not a substitute for laboratory DNA testing.
1.5 “DNA Testing Services” refers to laboratory analysis of biological specimens such as cheek swabs, blood, or forensic samples to assess genetic relationships.
2. Service Terms
2.1 By purchasing services, the Client agrees to these Terms.
2.2 Services are provided for informational purposes unless explicitly designated as legal DNA testing.
2.3 Submitted photographs or biological samples may not always produce conclusive results.
2.4 Submitted materials are non-returnable.
2.5 The Company may use accredited third-party laboratories.
2.6 Testing methods are determined at the Company’s discretion.
2.7 Facial Similarity Analysis results are based solely on visible facial features and not DNA samples.
2.8 Estimated turnaround times are not guaranteed.
2.9 Legal admissibility of DNA testing depends on court requirements.
2.10 The Company reserves the right to refuse services.
2.11 Facial Similarity Analysis is not intended for law enforcement or forensic identification.
3. Payments
Full payment or deposit is required before services begin.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and approved electronic payment.
Personal checks are not accepted.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Deposits and partial payments are non-refundable.
Cancellation fees apply:
- $25 cancellation fee for post-birth DNA testing
• $200 cancellation fee for non-invasive prenatal DNA testing
Additional conditions:
- No refunds once testing has begun
• No refunds after kits or supplies have shipped
• Cancellations more than 48 hours after payment are not eligible
• Declined recollection requests are not eligible for refund
• $50 recollection fee may apply for maternal blood redraw
• Turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed
By purchasing services, the Client agrees to this policy.
5. Client Consent and Responsibilities
The Client represents they have the legal right or lawful authority to submit photographs or biological samples.
By submitting photographs, the Client authorizes biometric facial analysis solely to provide requested services.
The Company does not independently verify consent of individuals depicted in photographs.
Clients agree not to represent facial similarity analysis as definitive genetic proof.
Services must be used lawfully.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Face IT DNA Technology LLC DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
The Company does not guarantee services will meet all expectations.
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid.
Clients acknowledge results may reveal unexpected information and accept responsibility.
Face IT DNA Technology LLC is not liable for claims or representations made by third-party resellers.
7. Scientific and Technical Limitations
Facial Similarity Analysis accuracy may be affected by:
- Image quality
• Lighting
• Camera angle
• Age differences
• Cosmetic procedures
• Medical conditions
• Natural genetic variation
Facial Similarity Analysis is an emerging technology.
It does not analyze DNA and cannot confirm biological relationships.
Only laboratory DNA testing using biological samples can confirm genetic relationships.
Facial Similarity Analysis is provided for informational and exploratory purposes only.
8. Accuracy and Testing Standards
8.1 DNA Testing Services
DNA testing follows accredited laboratory procedures.
When properly performed, DNA testing may achieve accuracy consistent with industry standards (such as 99.99% probability of paternity).
Disputes require evidence from an accredited laboratory.
Remedies are limited to retesting or refund.
8.2 Facial Similarity Analysis Services
Accuracy is not guaranteed.
Facial Similarity Analysis:
- Uses biometric software to compare facial features
• Does not analyze DNA
• Provides similarity estimates only
This service is a preliminary informational tool only.
8.3 Fraudulent Submissions
Fraudulent submissions void results and payments.
9. Data Collection and Usage
The Company collects personal information, photographs, and biological samples to provide services.
Photographs may be processed using biometric software.
Biological samples are used only for DNA testing.
Data handling is governed by the Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Providers
Accredited laboratories and providers may assist in service delivery.
Providers must maintain confidentiality.
11. Resellers and Third-Party Service Providers
11.1 The Company may allow authorized resellers to offer services.
11.2 Resellers operate independently and are not employees or agents unless stated in writing.
11.3 The Company is not responsible for reseller marketing claims or conduct.
11.4 Unauthorized claims made by resellers are not binding on the Company.
11.5 Resellers are responsible for obtaining client consent.
11.6 All services remain subject to these Terms regardless of purchase channel.
11.7 The Company may refuse reseller submissions.
12. Customer Conduct
Clients agree to lawful use only.
Accounts may be suspended for violations.
DNA kits must be used in authorized locations.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
14. Policy Updates
Terms may be updated periodically.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
