Noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is basically a screening of a fetus to check any genetic abnormality in it. This process involves analyzing of small fragments of DNA in the blood of a pregnant woman. These DNA are also called as cfDNA or cell free DNA because of their property of free flowing in blood unlike of other DNA which reside inside the nucleus of cell.
