How long does it take to get results?

We can normally complete mouth swab and blood draw DNA test within 2 business days from the day that we receive the samples in our laboratory (depending on the test you’re purchasing). Feel free to call us to get preliminary results; the final documentation will then be mailed or emailed, depending on your preference. All DNA testing services have an estimated completion time listed online and can scientifically never be precise. Results are often finished earlier than expected but can exceed estimated expectations.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, we do. If you want, you can pay 50% of the cost upfront and then pay the remaining when you’d like to get your results. You can also pay in whatever increments you’d like. We’ll start testing right away, but the results can only be released when your balance has been paid in full. For more information on the plan, call our staff at (833) 322-3362.

What other testing do you do?

Take a look at some of our testing services here. We perform a wide variety of tests, including those of a forensic nature. This is when someone sends us an object to get the DNA from it. These could include cigarette butts, hair, dried blood, dried urine, underwear stains, razor shavings, brushes, chewing gum, licked stamps and even wind instruments. Our state-of-the-art technology can glean results from all sorts of objects.
We also perform relationship tests to determine if, for example, two people are siblings or not. And for those who are concerned about possible infidelity, we can run a test to determine if the DNA sample came from just one person or more than one individual. Call us for more information on what we can provide.

Can the father and the child pose in the same picture?

Yes. It’s preferred that each person’s picture be separate so that we’ll know which person is who, however our system can split a photo if both parties are in the same photo.

How long does it take for results?

Results are available the same day of your submission. *To have same day results please submit your questionnaire and photo prior to 4:00 pm Central. Information submitted after that time will be calculated and released the following day (even on weekends) prior to 9:00 pm Central Time. Holidays and technical difficulties may effect this timing.

How will I get my results?

You will receive an email with your PDF results attached. You’ll be able to view and print your results from your email.

Can I use Facial results in court or other legal purposes?

Results from “Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity” are not admissible in a court of law. Court admissible test should have a “chain of custody”. The chain of custody refers to the various chain of “hands” that an actual blood draw or mouth swab sample passes through. The photos submitted for your report will be manually reviewed prior to the release of the report. Your report should not take the place of a physician’s order or the results from a blood test. Reports are based on Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity, a manual visual review process conducted by a technician and not an actual DNA specimen collection.

How accurate are your results?

The advantage of completing an actually blood test or mouth swab is that experts can literally detect the genetic makeup of an individual using actual DNA loci and markers though a system called polymerase chain reaction “PCR”. Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity can’t dive into a person’s internal DNA pattern through a computer, however what Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity “EDFPC” does do is calculate facial patterns and hereditary traits that can in some cases NOT be passed from an alleged parent. The laws of science are very straight forward. Some genetic traits are not transferable from family member to family member if the person scanned is not the actual related. With a blood or mouth swab test, results are up to 99% accurate. When we compare the pictures of 2 different individuals, we can provide a written break down of facial and hereditary characteristics that are similar and those that differ. There’s no way of predicting with 100% accuracy, but our clients find it comforting to have a skilled second opinion on their photos. That’s what we provide, and we do it well. A mouth swab or blood DNA test is the only way to know at 99% whether or not 2 people are truly related. DNA Face Matching only offers a hypothesis or suggestion of possible relationship and is occasionally incorrect. “EDFPC” results gives you a realistic suggestion on whether or not an actual blood test should be completed. Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity is the fastest way available to assist an answering DNA Paternity questions. It offers same day results from your facial scan and questionnaire.

How to understand the percentages of Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity “EDFPC”™ reports?

A number of different factors are taken into consideration when discovering findings and completing your report. Your pictures are studied and your hereditary characteristics are studied. It’s important to answer as many questions as possible in your questionnaire to give a more accurate percentage. Each of the 60+ points studied also contribute to the percentages. Yielding you a range of a 0% match up to as high as 100% match.

The objective is to rank as high as possible with each section of the Total Possible Match Locations. The lower the Actual Match Location the less likely the two individuals are related. These numbers are tabulated into a graph format. After calculating the findings, if the Total Match Percentage is under 50% this would suggest that the two parties analyzed would NOT share relationship. If the number is over 50%, it would strongly suggest relationship. In either case a recommendation to follow up with an actual mouth swab or blood DNA paternity test may be suggested.

What time of the day should I expect to receive my Facial report?

Reports are released the same day of your submission (as long as you submit prior to 4 PM Central Time) between the hours of 9am and 9pm. You’ll receive an email PDF explaining your report. Check your email throughout the day. There is no exact time you should expect your report.

If I don't have all the answers to the questionnaire can I still request a Facial Recognition Report?

Yes. You’ll want to answer as many questions as possible, however if some answers are unknown you can still request a Facial Recognition Report™ with the answers you have. The more information submitted the more consistent your percentage will be.

Do I NEED to upload pictures or can I get answers by completing only the questionnaire?

Both the alleged father and child’s photo MUST be uploaded. In our Ancestry DNA Face Matching™ test both pictures of the suspected relatives must be submitted. This is a key factor in the entire FACE IT™ process. The questionnaire alone is not enough to complete a full report.

What is Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity "EDFPC"™?

EDFPC ™ is a manual study of facial traits and a comparison of the hereditary characteristics of two individuals.

An algorithm known as Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity “EDFPC” is a biometric process that uses unique patterns to manually scan human faces. Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity scans the human face and then compares related facial traits to another person’s facial traits. This process allows experts to determine certain genetic traits inherited from an alleged family member. Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity assist in manually scanning the structure of the eyes, chin, forehead, jaw edge, the thickness of lips, width of mouth, dimples, eyebrow patterns, nose radius, ear shape, the structure of cheekbones, etc.

Electronic DNA Facial Point Connectivity uses a 60+ Point Facial Connectivity system to assist in determining the genetic relationship of an alleged family member. A mouth swab or blood DNA test is the only way to know at 99% whether or not 2 people are truly related. DNA Face Matching only offers a hypothesis or suggestion of possible relationship and is occasionally incorrect. Its lots of fun and offers same day results.
